I started tinyprotest because I like to wear my heart on my sleeve but don't want my feminist t-shirt to be made in a sweatshop. Kind of defies the purpose, right? And so many of my protest tees end up at the back of the closet after just a few wears. Again, not very sustainable.<\/p>
So I decided to make a collection of minimalist protest tees which are ethically made and built for everyday wear. Not just for rallies.<\/p>
By day I work as a marketer and fundraiser for a small charity in the Netherlands. So I know firsthand how much good organisations are doing out there, and how much they rely on support to keep doing it. That's where the second part of tinyprotest comes in. For every product you buy, a donation goes to a charity relevant to that cause. Bought the 'planet over profit' tote? That goes to a climate organisation. Bought the 'support your sisters, not just your cis-ters' tee? That supports trans rights. Feels good, doesn't it?<\/p>
